Eli Sanders was the associate editor of Seattle’s weekly newspaper, The Stranger, until 2020. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Writing in 2012. His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Seattle Times, The American Prospect, and Salon, among other publications. Sanders lives in Seattle, where he writes the occasional Wild West newsletter and has been attending the University of Washington School of Law as a Gates Scholar.
